Like others, after spending a little time looking around for a good LEGO table I came up with nothing really suitable for my 2.5 and 4.5 year old boys. So, with some design tips from my wife I embarked on a short DIY project. The goal is to build a good size table that can be enjoyed by 2 – 4 kids.
This was the initial concept drawing:
The idea was to have drawers accessible by both sides. These would house all the loose LEGO pieces. The brace in the bottom of the image was to add some additional support to the structure. Probably not needed but my kids like to climb so better safe than sorry.
