Raspberry Pi Arrives

I took delivery of my Raspberry Pi on Thursday which was pretty good considering I had only ordered the afternoon prior. During the day I went out and grabbed a 16Gb SanDisk Ultra flash SDHC memory card with plans on installing Rasbmc. At first I was getting weird USB errors and after a short troubleshooting session with the aid of fellow Pi users on the Internet I was able to isolate the problem to being a dodgy micro USB cable.

Flashing Galaxy Nexus to a yakju build

One of the advantages of buying a “Nexus” branded phones is that it’s vanilla Android and always the first to get updates – pretty much as soon as Google release it. You could pretty much look at it as a Google Phone. But alas, with the Galaxy Nexus, this seems to have changed. The “Google” version is the yakju build. It appears that the majority of Galaxy Nexus sold here in OZ have a yakjudv or similar build.

NC360T Hack Failed Attempt

Ok so it’s been a while since I posted back about this. My efforts were a total FAIL, doing it my way will kill the card. Fortunately, another reader Ralf managed to get the job done right and was kind enough to send in some photo’s.
